I have a funny story about a failed flirting attempt. I used to work as a bank cashier and one day a very attractive guy walked in and I became a giggly nervous wreck of a person. The first thing this guy does is walk up to the counter all confident-like, looks me straight in the eye and says "I want to buy you a rose". Well, I turned to jelly. Eventually I directed him to the nearest florist, giggling at him like a lunatic. He seemed a little confused and obviously my brain was too mushy to notice. It was only when my friend turned to me that I realised the horrible mistake I had made. "Why did you direct him to the florist" - she said - "...when he only wanted to buy some Euros?" I nearly died. - True story.
